Indonesia is currently the second largest plastic polluter in the world after China. An estimated 200,000 tonnes of plastic - 16 percent of the world's total - are being flushed into the ocean. In order to cope with the garbage crisis, a big, systematic change must take place. Thanks to some dedicated Indonesians, things are starting to change slowly.
