Synopsis:
More than 50 years of civil war could soon come to an end. Since the 1960s more than 220,000 people have been killed in the clashes between the state security forces, left-wing rebels and right-wing paramilitarians. According to experts, the guerrillas currently have around 8,000 armed combatants. What happens to the demobilized rebels after handing over their weapons? Do they have the opportunity to lead a new life in Colombian society? Is an integration possible? What do Colombian citizens think about it? The film accompanies an ex-guerrilla fighter on her way to reintegration.
